In der 2. Ausschreibungsrunde werden Projekte mit Maßnahmen zur Stärkung der Cybersicherheit gefördert, die insbesondere auf KMU und kritische Infrastrukturen fokussieren.
Mit 184 Mio Euro an Fördermitteln sollen u.a. "National Coordination Centers", die transnationale Zusammenarbeit im Cybersecuritybereich, neue und bestehende "Security Operation Centres" sowie ein Kapazitätsaufbau im Bereich Cybersecurity unterstützt werden.
Ziel ist, das Vertrauen von Bürger:innen, Unternehmen und Regierungen in die Cybersicherheit zu stärken und die Cyberresilienz Europas zu verbessern.
